Becky Kahler-Thyssen, MSN, CNM, APNP Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner Becky’s entire career has been in women’s health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Bellin College of Nursing in Green Bay. She then received her Master’s of Science Degree in Nursing with a specialty in Midwifery from Frontier School of Midwifery and Family Nursing in Hyden, KY. Her clinical preparation was at Gunderson Lutheran Medical Clinic in LaCrosse, WI and she is certified by the American College of Nurse Midwives. Becky has a special interest in pregnancy, lactation, family planning, contraception and adolescent health. Becky offers hospital-based midwifery services, delivering babies at Appleton Medical Center. “Being a woman, I know how important it is to have a provider that listens and educates you in your health and provides options for care. Therefore, I believe every woman should be empowered with information and options regarding her health that is centered around each individual woman and her family, and is sensitive to her age, ethnicity, and culture. Each stage in a women’s life can bring about powerful changes, and I want to be there during the transition.” Becky’s hobbies include camping, horseback riding, and gardening with her husband, Randy and children, Amber, Autumn, and Wyatt.
